Analysts do lots of valuable work stepping back from the hurly-burly of tech and media industries, and making predictions for the future. But sometimes, the results come out a bit… mangled. But beneath the disrupto-speak, McQuivey is making a serious point: that companies and individuals who see themselves as great disrupters are just as ripe for turning over by a more-innovative rival.
