Hats off to whoever planned Justin Bieber’s latest social stunt, to promote his new Nicki Minaj-featuring single ‘Beauty and a Beat‘. It started with Bieber tweeting that someone had nicked his laptop and digital camera from backstage during a gig. “i had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most,” tweeted the star. Cue rumours that this included compromising photos of, ahem, Justin’s Bieber – and a Twitter user called @gexwy promising to post more the following day at a specific time. And when they did, well, Vulture‘s headline puts it best: ‘The Only Thing on Justin Bieber’s Stolen Laptop Was This Music Video He Wanted to Promote’.
