We’ve been interested in Tunigo for a while now: the music discovery site was one of Spotify’s first partners for its apps platform in Sweden. Now it’s got an iPhone app promising to be “a completely new and groundbreaking Spotify experience”.
That would be Tunigo Play: an app with a built-in Spotify player (for premium subscribers) that serves up playlists from Tunigo’s own staff and members of its community.
The app also spotlights new releases on a daily basis – a feature we know there’s a lot of demand for from users of every streaming music service – as well as music news and the ability to create your own playlists.
The app itself is free to download, and seems to be available globally (or, at least, in Spotify’s global markets).
