Dance music brand Mixmag wants fans to help it choose the “greatest dance track of all time“, and has launched a social-fuelled website to run the poll. The site gets people to log in via Facebook, then browse and listen to nearly 300 records (“from house and techno to dubstep and drum’n’bass”). People then vote on their favourite, or enter a different track if it’s not on the (very) longlist. The music itself comes from YouTube embeds, and the site was built by Mixmag’s in-house team. There’s also a tie-in with digital store Beatport, with a code to get 20% off the tracks when bought there.
