MTV’s International Talent and Music team are looking for a Digital Media Co-ordinator to work alongside the Digital Media Director, acting as the bridge between MTV’s International Digital Media team in New York and the music industry, and coordinating and maximising artist promotion across MTV’s International Digital platforms.
You will be the first internal point of contact within TAM for Digital Music operations across areas including content production, acquisition, formatting and distribution – working across all processes to ensure assets are made available for sites in a timely and professional manner. You would work alongside the TAM Label Director and Managers to drive constant communication of music content to local Digital Media and TAM teams, and departments including business affairs, editorial, marketing, press and research.
Our ideal candidate will have a knowledge of MTV and its place in the digital media universe is essential, as well as a passion for and comprehensive understanding of the overall digital music market and related promotional platforms. Proven digital music experience dealing with high-visibility, time-sensitive A-list artist projects is essential, as is a high level of digital competency including Photoshop, HTML, Office and similar applications. You will also need a well developed set of personal contacts within the digital music industry, and significant experience of directly working with music talent and related teams coordinating multi-platform campaigns.
