People will get free access to WiMP’s 18m-strong catalogue, although it sounds like some features will remain premium, like mobile: “New WiMP in Sweden is an open product based on the conviction that everyone should have the opportunity to try WiMP, before purchasing the full WiMP experience with access to the service on any device anywhere, anytime,” explains the company in an announcement made this morning. “Simultaneously, customers of Aftonbladet get to listen to WiMP while they read their newspaper’s music reviews, interviews or other articles digitally.”
