The BBC’s iPlayer Radio app has been downloaded more than 1m times since its release for iOS devices on 8 October. 88% of downloads have been on iPhones, and 6% each on iPads and iPod touches. He adds that 25% of active users are listening to Radio 1 live in the app – indicating a decent chunk of younger users.
