The UK’s Entertainment Retailers Association covering digital and physical sales of music, games and video for 2012 provided some notable stats.

Digital sales across the music, video and games grew by 11.4% to just over £1bn in 2012. The bad news: physical sales of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs and boxed games fell by 17.6%. ERA claims that digital music sales increased from £333m in 2011 to £383.3m in 2012, a rise of 15.1%.
