Prince may not be a fan of six-second Vine clips, but unsigned London band Zwah are trying something a bit more pro-active with Twitter’s video app. They’re asking fans to download Vine and shoot clips of their life at 1.58pm exactly on 8 April, then upload them with the hashtag #mymo. The idea: they’ll be collected in a ‘docu-tweet’ (yes, ouch!) on the band’s profile on social site RebelMouse. “This isn’t Big Brother where people are forced into an unnatural environment – a space that’s not theirs. This is a peephole into your space. Keep it real, says singer Phil Byrne. And this is a very fun idea, although the fact that Zwah have 124 followers on Twitter – with presumably a further subset of those fans owning iPhones and the Vine app – makes us wonder just how many clips they’ll receive. We’ll know on Monday at around 2ish.
