Shazam revealed revenues rising 39.8% year-on-year to £21.81m, but net losses growing from £619k in Shazam’s 2011 financial year to £3.3m in its fiscal 2012. The year saw Shazam invest in its growing TV business, while also agreeing to pay $22.7m to Broadcasting Monitoring Inc in November 2011 for “certain core IP”.
