DreamWorks Animation’s acquired AwesomenessTV, an MCN aimed at teenagers, with more than 14m subscribers and 800m video views. DreamWorks is paying $33m for the company, although the deal’s value could rise to $117m if AwesomenessTV hits specific earnings targets in 2014 and 2015.
