A busy week for music videos service Vevo, which has launched in Poland and revealed its third Vevo Presents gig for the UK. Vevo’s website, mobile website and smartphone/tablet apps are now available in Poland, with its Xbox 360 application following later in the week. It’s the 11th market where Vevo has launched, and the seventh in Europe following the UK, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. As elsewhere, Vevo is promising strong representation from local Polish artists as well as global stars in its new country. Meanwhile, back in Blighty the company has announced plans for a gig by Demi Lovato in London on 31 May, following previous Vevo Presents concerts by Jessie J and Kasabian. This time round, the sponsor is Sony’s Xperia smartphones brand, with the gig taking place in the 450-capacity Tabernacle venue.
