Microsoft may be pushing its own Xbox Music service, but it’s not shutting rival streaming firms out of its Xbox 360 console. Deezer unveiled its Xbox 360 app yesterday, including Kinect voice and gesture commands to control the music, and a choice of online and offline listening. We think it’s just as interesting that the app supports multiple accounts: up to three Deezer accounts can be connected, recognising the fact that Xbox 360s are often used by families or housemates. “This partnership with Xbox gives the 3 million music fans already using our service another great way to experience and share tunes,” says Deezer’s chief business development officer Clement Cezard. That’s 3m subscribers, obviously: Last time we checked, Deezer had 26m+ users.
