Tapjoy has a vested interest in a survey showing more than 2,000 mobile users found that 54% of smartphone users have paid for in-app premium content, but that when given a choice of paying for content or receiving it for free in exchange for advertising, 67% of them opted for the latter. 73% of mobile users said they’d be willing to engage with ads on their phones to get free music.
