The figures are in for the first week’s sales for Daft Punk’s new ‘Random Access Memories’ album, in the UK at least. The album sold 165k copies last week, taking top spot in the albums chart by some distance, and also outdoing the 121k first-week sales for Michael Bublé’s latest album earlier in the year. Meanwhile, Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ single has sold 711k copies so far in the UK alone.
