Apple’s Apple TV accounts for more than half the sales of streaming set-top boxes, according to a new report from Frost & Sullivan. The report pegs Apple TV with a 56.1% market share globally, ahead of Roku’s 21.5%, TiVo’s 6.5% and other devices’ 15.9% share. Apple said earlier this year that it had sold 13m Apple TV devices by the end of Q1 2013, so this market is still a niche in the grand scheme of things.
