John Mayer is out and about for his Born & Raised world tour, and there’s now an official app for that. Released as a free download for iPhone, it offers fans a list of all the tour dates, as well as a map view to track his travels. Each show’s setlist will also be made available to fans within the app. However, there are also other features designed to get fans interacting while at the gigs, including one inspired by Instagram. “With the JM Cam, fans can snap a photo of the show during the performance and apply several John Mayer-inspired photo filters,” explains the App Store listing. “Share the photo with any of your preferred social network, including Instagram. Make all your friends jealous of the amazing experience of a John Mayer concert!” There’s also the hint at a “special gift” for fans who do this. The app includes news and feeds from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and was developed by Nashville firm Aloompa, whose previous apps include releases for Kenny Chesney and various festivals.
