Nokia announced its latest quarterly financial results, with revenues down 24% year-on-year to €5.7bn ($7.5bn) and a quarterly operating loss of €115m ($151m). Nokia sold 7.4m of its Lumia Windows Phone smartphones during the quarter, up 85% year-on-year. Crucially, that put Nokia ahead of BlackBerry’s 6.8m smartphones shipped during that company’s last financial quarter, with only 2.7m of those running the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system
