Whizzy interactive HTML5 videos have become a regular feature in the music marketing landscape over the last couple of years. The latest band to benefit is Virgin EMI artist The Family Rain for their new single ‘Reason To Die’. The video was produced by creative agency Powster, and sees the band playing the song, filmed with 16 GoPro cameras that mean fans can “orbit” at any time by moving the viewpoint around their stage. Powster used the Orbital interactive video technology for the video, which is hosted on a responsive HTML5 website that plays nice with mobile devices – including iPads, where fans can change the camera angle by tilting their tablet or with a touch-dragging gesture.
