Electrospective-cover

Electrospective is a new Spotify app that focuses on, as its name suggests, electronic music – with tracks tracing the various musical and sub-genre developments here dating back to 1958 across over 550 albums. It features guest curators (such as Daniel Miller of Mute Records) and themed playlists. This is an extension of the timeline-based Electrospective website that was built last year by EMI around the electronic music catalogues of Virgin, Parlophone, EMI and Mute. Since Universal’s acquisition of EMI, it has added its own electronic catalogue to the project.
