Boy Genius Report has outlined the simple steps to get an account for non-Americans: it involves signing out of the App Store on their iOS device, changing the store’s country to the US, then downloading a free app and creating a new account – which skips the credit card details part. Cue stories about iTunes Radio being available outside the US. Even though Apple is still signing its licensing deals for the service to roll out on a global basis, we sense this isn’t a huge problem for the company and its partners in the music industry: the main question is how soon it can launch officially so Apple owners don’t have to look for workarounds.
