Tech firm Jawbone has won plenty of fans for its Jambox range of wireless speakers. Now there’s an official app for them, released yesterday for iPhone and Android. The Jawbone app enables people to add playlists from iTunes, Spotify, Rdio and Deezer, then stream them to the nearest Jawbone speaker “seamlessly switching between services and tracks with a simple swipe”. It’s the most comprehensive app we’ve seen in that regard: we’ve seen a few apps supporting Spotify and Rdio, but we think this is the first to add iTunes and Deezer into the mix. The app’s release comes alongside the launch of a new member of the Jambox family: the Mini Jambox, which is the smallest yet, and will sell for $180 in nine different colours.
