BandPage has been on a run of partnerships in recent months, with Xbox Music, Vevo and Rhapsody now taking feeds of artist profiles and other content from it. Yesterday it bagged another biggie: Live Nation. The live firm will now also be integrating artists’ BandPage profiles into its web and mobile sites, from December. It sees BandPage hooking up with Live Nation’s digital team, led by Eric Garland. “ and our other digital properties are data-driven by our BigChampagne Ultimate Chart platform,” said Garland in a statement. “We look forward to partnering with BandPage to enrich our consumer offering even further.” It’s interesting to wonder how the relationship may develop: having updated bios and photos appear alongside gig listings is nice, but there’s surely potential to do more over time – particularly around BandPage’s ‘Experiences’ offering of VIP fan-rewards.
