Music has been a growing part of children’s virtual world Moshi Monsters, which in the last year has spawned a gold-certified album in the UK, and a legal spat with Lady Gaga over a spoof character. Now there’s an app for that (the music, not the legal threats). It’s called Moshi Monsters Music and was released today for iPhone, iPad and Android as a free download. It offers music videos from “a goopendous array of Moshi characters” complete with karaoke-style on-screen lyrics, and a trailer for the upcoming Moshi Monsters movie. So basically a skin for YouTube videos, then, but with 80m registered users, it could be very popular.
