
Anti-piracy group the Danish Rights Alliance has called for tougher measures to be implemented to stem online piracy, suggesting that measures similar to those implemented in Sweden would be desirable. “A special unit that works consistently with intellectual property crime would be a marked improvement on the current situation,” said Maria Fredenslund of the organisation in an op-ed piece for Jyllands-Posten. “Such a facility would enable police and prosecutors to build the relevant skills through their daily operational work with intellectual property cases.”
