Expect to hear a fair bit about musician Julian Lennon in the coming weeks, thanks to a ‘Through The Picture Window’ documentary about his life and a new album called ‘Everything Changes’. The promo campaign is being spearheaded by a new iOS app named after the documentary. Released yesterday on the App Store, it costs £7.99 and features the documentary, videos for all the tracks on the album, acoustic versions of the songs, bonus content and social media feeds, with the promise of regular updates to come. Separately, Tubefilter reports on Lennon’s exploration of a potential YouTube channel, with Endemol’s new multi-channel network Endemol Beyond in the frame as a possible partner. Lennon recently played a gig in the YouTube Space LA studio, filmed by the company. “This was our first hello. If there is going to be a relationship, and YouTube and Endemol Beyond are the way forward, then to be aligned with them and and partner with them, that would be a positive thing to do.”
