Remember back in 2008, when Guns’n’Roses’ ‘Chinese Democracy’ album leaked ahead of its release, sparking a famous copyright case against music blogger Kevin Coghill? It’s okay, the details are fairly sketchy in our memory too. But Coghill has published a long article this week promising “the full story” behind the leak and subsequent legal action. There is lots of fascinating detail about Coghill’s arrest and the ins and outs of the case against him and his defence. Although yes, there is also plenty of ammo for the
