Rights management software firm Counterpoint Systems has some new clients for its Record Maestro service. The company has signed up Warp Records, Mute Artists, Cooking Vinyl and Union Square Records to use the rights and royalty software, as well as distributor Essential Music & Marketing. They join the likes of BMG Rights Management, Concord Records and The Orchard on the company’s client list, with head of sales Phil Bird pitching Record Maestro as “the toolkit of choice when it comes to running a label”.
