In recent weeks, there’s been a baffling explosion in clones of mobile game Flappy Bird, after the original was removed from app stores by its creator. One of the most popular is Flying Cyrus, nestled in the upper reaches of Apple’s App Store free charts in recent weeks, with 5m downloads so far. Partnership would be one option – make it an official Miley Cyrus app, just as Fall Out Boy launched their own Flappy Bird clone last month. Yet it seems Miley’s team have opted for a takedown approach instead.
