Sean Parker has walked from VC company Founders Fund and will not make any new investments on its behalf, according to reports. Founders Fund originally helped seed investment in Facebook and Parker stepped down as president of the social network in 2006 to join Founders. Parker also invested in Spotify via Founders to the tune of $30m. The news comes as the VC raised $1bn in its sixth funding round. Parker will retain his board seats in “active FF investments” – and that includes Spotify.
