Spotify recently introduced its Your Music feature, enabling people to add songs and albums to their virtual collections more easily by tapping plus icons dotted around the streaming service. For now, the feature is available for online listening only, but that’ll change soon according to an email sent out to users. “Listening to Your Music offline. You’ll be able to do this very soon. Watch out for Android and iOS updates later this month,” explains the email. It seems like Spotify has been fielding lots of questions from users about what Your Music means for the existing Starred feature – the way people have traditionally collected songs on Spotify for easy access. The email stresses that Starred hasn’t gone away: it’s just been downgraded in the user interface. “All your Starred songs are still there and you can keep adding more. But we’ve replaced the one-click star option with a save button, as we found that most people prefer to save tracks to Your Music,” it explains. “You’ll now find your Starred songs at the top of your playlists. You can drag songs over directly in desktop. Or hit the three dots, go to ‘Add to…’ and select Starred.”
