Amazon Prime Music playlists

Curation is all the rage in digital music. Curated playlists are emerging as one of the key ways people will encounter new music and rediscover old favourites. And that curation seems to be getting more and more specific as time goes by.

We smiled at Beats Music’s ‘I’m playing polo with your mom in the summer and want some hot ska disco’ station generator, while recognising the idea behind it. But today, what’s making us giggle is some of the playlists on Amazon Prime Music, which launched this morning.

We’re based in the UK, so can’t use the service yet, but we can marvel at the playlist titles. Here are 10 of our favourites, with links to prove we’re not joking:
