Microsoft completes its acquisition of Nokia’s devices and services division


Nokia’s mobile handset business is now part of Microsoft, after the latter company’s acquisition closed on Friday. Nokia CEO Stephen Elop is transitioning to executive vice president of Microsoft’s devices group as part of the deal, as planned, as are Nokia’s smartphone and feature phone businesses, design team, sales and marketing operations and other facilities....
