Pioneering jazz label Blue Note Records is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and those celebrations include a partnership with Apple for a stronger presence on its iTunes store. There’s now a Blue Note destination page on the store, which will gather the label’s back catalogue and spotlight a different artist every month, according to Billboard. There’ll also be a monthly Now Hear This podcast, remastered-for-iTunes releases, and a series of celebratory compilations. “If you identify with the vibe and have a destination within the iTunes all around the world, that’s major,” aid chief creative officer Don Was. iTunes Radio is also part of the partnership: there’s now a Blue Note Radio station on Apple’s personal radio service.
