Last week, we reported on a full album’s worth of new Madonna songs leaking online, even though Madonna quickly released a statement claiming they were unfinished. Over the weekend, her strategy moved on a step: six songs from her upcoming album ‘Rebel Hearts’ got an official release through iTunes (with five of them on Spotify and streaming services too). “I was hoping to release my new single ‘Living For Love’ on Valentine’s Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring,” said Madonna in a statement. “I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.”
