US singer Kelly Clarkson took to Twitter yesterday to hold a listening party for her new album ‘Piece by Piece’, inviting fans to press play on their copy at 8pm ET, then read her tweets alongside each track.
“My favourite part of this song is when it breaks down at the end with all the vocals!” and “Oh my gosh, I love #DanceWithMe! It’s like Abba meets Bowie! This song makes me the happiest on the album. :)” and so on. There wasn’t any interaction with fans, mind, which may be one factor in the fact that while Clarkson has more than 10.1 million Twitter followers, most of her tweets were only retweeted between 100 and 150 times each.
