Pioneering big-beat label Skint Records was acquired by BMG last year, and now it’s on the comeback trail through partnerships with Kartel Music Group and PledgeMusic. The former is on board to help distribute a series of re-releases from the Skint catalogue, with a ’20 Years of Being Skint’ anniversary box-set to celebrate the label’s artists.

PledgeMusic is helping sell the four-LP vinyl version of that, with 500 box-sets for sale at £57.50 each, plus associated merch. “Working with Kartel Music Group, PledgeMusic will be delivering a range of exclusive, must-have limited editions and merchandise to fans of a range of artists on a label that very much set the tone for today’s dance music,” said PledgeMusic’s Malcolm Dunbar in a statement.
