Last July, Facebook bought Oculus for $2bn so it has got a ‘reasonable’ amount of backing and financial support to develop its products. Music Ally has been gently enthusiastic about VR and its potential for music marketing for some time, with the likes of Kasabian, Björk, The Who and Paul McCartney being among the artists to experiment with it.
