Report claims Team Adele pitched Apple on $30m tour sponsorship


The New York Post carried a pair of intriguing stories about the return of Adele yesterday, including the claim that talent agency WME pitched Apple a $30m tour sponsorship on her behalf.

The newspaper also claimed that the deal as pitched would see Apple selling the CD version of upcoming album ’25’ in its stores around the world – a curious idea, given that Apple has not just focused on selling music downloads and now streaming subscriptions, but has also phased CD players out of its computers over recent years.
