Pandora clearly sees its recent acquisition of Ticketfly as an important part of its future strategy, as it moves towards on-demand streaming.

Now the subsidiary has announced its own expansion: “We’re moving further beyond the ticket and extending our platform into talent buying,” as Ticketfly’s blog post put it yesterday.

The company is launching a beta product called Ticketfly Promoter which it’s describing as “a comprehensive, integrated booking product that makes talent buying easy… the world’s first end-to-end product for calendar management, offer creation, and settlement”.

It works across desktop and mobile, tying in to Ticketfly’s existing event management features. Against a backdrop of stiff competition from the biggest beasts of the ticketing world, features like this could be crucial in swaying more promoters to consider Ticketfly.
