These have been rumoured for a while, but Twitter has unveiled three new apps designed for celebrities using its social network.

They’re called Twitter Camera, Twitter Mirror Challenger and Twitter Q&A, with their official coming-out event being next weekend’s Golden Globes film awards.

Twitter Camera is the photo-customisation app that Miley Cyrus used at last August’s MTV VMAs, with GIFs and video thrown in. Twitter Q&A helps stars launch on-Twitter interview sessions with fans, organised with hashtags.

And Twitter Mirror Challenger is an app that helps fans challenge stars to do certain tasks according to Mashable: “For example, at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, celebrities were asked to do the Whip/Nae Nae.”

Expect to see the apps used at prominent music awards in the coming months: we suspect the Brit Awards in the UK could see some action around them for example.
