Domino Records have hit on a fun idea to promote the upcoming Animal Collecting album ‘Painting With’ – a digital painting app for iOS.
Also called ‘Painting With’, it’s a free download billed as “a collaborative creative tool from the band Animal Collective that allows you to paint with anyone around the world in real time”.
People choose digital brushes and trace their fingers on their iPhone or iPad screen to draw with another fan, while the band’s ‘Lying In The Grass’ track plays.
The results can then be turned into a video and shared to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
