For the third year running, YouTube will be streaming the Brit Awards outside the UK.

As ever, some YouTube stars will be anchoring the live coverage: Dan & Phil presenting with Kingsley roaming the red carpet (if you need to ask about surnames, ask a passing teenager obv.)

“After the live broadcast, individual artists will upload their performances to their own YouTube channels for you to relive again and again, plus there will be catch-up content on the Brits channel itself,” noted YouTube’s blog post.

The news came as YouTube and sister service Google Play Music released predictions for the Brits winners, based on their streaming data.

They’re predicting three gongs for Adele, as well as victories for Justin Bieber, Years & Years, Ariana Grande and Major Lazer.

What would be more interesting, though, would be if streaming data (i.e. what fans are actually listening to) completely failed to predict what the 1,000+ industry judges for the Brits decide should win this year…
