We don’t often get to use Hollywood Life as a source, but the celebrity-gossip news site appears to have got the scoop on Kanye West’s reaction to 500k+ pirated downloads of his new album ‘The Life of Pablo’.

“Kanye is going to meet with his legal team to discuss the possibilities of starting legal action against torrent site Pirate Bay,” claimed its (anonymous, yes) source.

West is apparently “furious because he’s potentially lost millions of dollars… He’s touchy, angry and feels like his material was stolen. He hates the idea of people not paying for his music and feels someone needs to be held accountable for that.”

Tidal could be part of any legal action, added the source. “He’s going to talk to his lawyers and see where he stands, and hopefully Tidal will partner up with him in any legal proceedings because it was supposed to be an exclusive release.”

The RIAA has been filing takedowns to Google for links to torrents of ‘The Life of Pablo’, but going after individual sites – particularly the famously-slippery Pirate Bay – seems like a stretch for an individual artist.
