British gamer Tom Cassell has been a big hit on YouTube, where as TheSyndicateProject he has nearly 10 million subscribers, but also on live-streaming platform Twitch, where he has more than 2.4 million followers.

Now he’s hoping to use his popularity with games viewers to sell music. Cassell is the latest online-video star to partner with label Heard Well, picking 13 tracks for a compilation called Sounds of Syndication, which went on sale on Friday (6 May).

“Fans have been asking me for years what my favourite music is and what music I play in my videos,” said Cassell. “Sounds of Syndication answers this question and puts many of my favourite tracks all in one place.”

Cassell joins digital stars including Connor Franta (who co-founded the label), Lohanthony, Amanda Steele and Jc Caylen as Heard Well curators.

The Sounds of Syndication album is being sold for $9.99 on iTunes, but also as a $21.99 physical package including a signed poster, sticker and pin badge.
