US-based group Us The Duo came to fame on Vine, where they have collected five million followers with their musical clips. Having already parlayed that into a live and albums business, now they are making money from brands too.

Us The Duo are taking part in something called the Hello Lab Initiative, which is the work of US telco AT&T and multi-channel network Fullscreen. It signs up digital stars to create #BrandedContent, with YouTuber Grace Helbig and production studio Rooster Teeth among its participants. And now Us The Duo too, who are making a five-track EP based on the life stories of fans, submitted through their newly-launched ‘Public Record EP’ website. “There are so many stories out there that are way weirder, wilder, and more beautiful than anything the two of us could ever experience in our lifetime,” said the band in a statement. And now those beautiful stories get to promote AT&T, which is nice.
