VRSUS is the latest startup exploring the crossover between music and virtual reality. It joins companies like MelodyVR and TheWaveVR, both of whom Music Ally has profiled in recent months.

Co-founded by former Bandsintown big data developer Mahtab Ghamsari, VRSUS appears most similar to MelodyVR in its focus on live music performances.

“We’re bringing live music to the Virtual Reality space, integrating the most realistic elements of light, 3D sound, 360 video capture together within VR environments to give remote spectators a realistic sense of what it’s like to participate in large concerts and public events,” explains her profile on LinkedIn.

There are no details yet on which platforms VRSUS plans to target with its consumer-facing app, but we will keep you posted.
