Deezer is the latest streaming service to launch a family plan, with its subscribers across Europe now able to pay €14.99 a month for up to six accounts on the service. That matches the family plans of Apple Music and Spotify for price and people. The Europe-wide rollout has been a long time coming: Deezer launched the family plan in France in November 2015, but it’s taken until now to expand it across the continent. Unlike Apple and Spotify, Deezer has launched some features for families too. Family Mix is “a bespoke mix that plays to the tastes of all family members”, while Deezer Kids is a collection of children’s music. Napster is the only other service that has dedicated features for children in this way.
