Midem owner Reed Midem has announced the judging lineup for this year’s Midemlab startups competition, which will see early-stage companies pitching their wares in Cannes this June.
Google’s Christian Behrendt; Universal Music’s Ty Roberts; Sony Music’s Andre Stapleton; and Warner Music’s John Rees are among the judges, along with representatives from 500 Startups, Marathon Artists, Ultimate Music China and Bandsintown among other companies.
Music Ally CEO Paul Brindley is also on the panel, as we continue our partnership with Midemlab.
The competition’s call for entries has also opened with a submission deadline of 20 March for its four categories: Music Creation & Education; Music Discovery & Distribution; Marketing & Data/Analytics; and Experiential Technologies, covering VR/AR, high-resolution, IoT & hardware.
