Brooklyn-based startup Auxcorde has piqued our interest this morning, after we spotted its profile on investment site AngelList with the slogan ‘plug your audio into the internet’.

Its website reveals more about its plans to provide “a fullstack real-time audio platform for artists, managers, music blogs, podcasters, and of course listeners”.

Founded by a team of brand strategists and designers for music clients, Auxcorde will work with artists to create websites – “from simple audio uploads (think your very own SoundCloud), to full-featured websites with audio, video, tour, socials, and merch” – with an admin panel to suit managers and labels who want to run several sites at once.

However, Auxcorde also wants to be a platform for music bloggers and podcasters to host and manage their content, as well as a place for fans to come to find music and build playlists that pull in music from a variety of streaming services.
